Testing and Community Connections

The MCA III's (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments) are administered to all students in grades three and four. These tests reflect student achievement in the areas of reading and math.

NWEA testing is given to grades 2-4 in both reading and math. NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) (MAP) is a computerized adaptive assessment program that provides educators with the information they need to improve teaching and learning. Educators use the growth and achievement data from MAP and develop targeted instructional strategies and to plan school improvement.
